Our practice started as a small, part-time pediatric office in 1990.  Dr. Lomonico practiced solo for one year and was joined by Dr. Seymour in 1991. Both Dr. Lomonico and Dr. Seymour had completed their pediatric residency at the University of Maryland and both also were Chief Residents at that institution.

The practice was initially located in a quaint old house on the second floor on 325 South Main Street right in the center of the town of Bel Air. The tiny office came with its own charm, including broken door knobs, fickle window air conditioning and green, shag carpet. As the practice was becoming established in Harford County, both Drs. Lomonico and Seymour worked as teaching attendings and transport physicians for the University of Maryland. In addition they taught at the Family Practice Center in Baltimore, Franklin Square Hospital, and Mercy Hospital.

As Harford County blossomed in the mid 1990’s, the practice grew and both doctors decided to concentrate all their attention in this practice. The practice moved to its present location in 1996 at 836 South Main Street in Bel Air. Since that time the practice has incorporated several other full time physicians and continues to train pediatric residents.

In addition to their practice, the physicians remain active in the Harford County medical community. They are involved in the Infant- Toddler program, the Child Fatality Review Organization, the Harford County Childrens Council and the Child Advocacy Center for abused children.
 
All the physicians live in the area and are quite used to the mechanism of the county, including the local hospitals, nursing facilities, schools and special needs areas. The physicians and their staff have tremendous contact with the major referral institutions in the state, including University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Kennedy Krieger Institute as well as the duPont Center in Delaware.

The practice remains open and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Paul Lomonico earned his medical degree from The University of Maryland School of Medicine.  He performed his internship and completed his pediatric residence program also at The University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Lomonico has been in private practice since 1990 in Bel Air, Maryland.  He is a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics, Harford County Childrens Council, Children’s Advocacy Center, Childs Fatality Review Committee of Harford County and the Infant-Toddler Program of Harford County.  He is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Lomonico’s special interests in Pediatrics are cardiology and special needs children.

Dr. Lomonico has been married for 25 years to wife, Cindy and has three children, David, Gregory and Anthony.  In his spare time he enjoys sports and the outdoors.

Dr. Thomas Seymour earned his medical degree from The University of Maryland School of Medicine.  He performed his internship and completed his pediataric residency program also at The University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Seymour has been in private practice since 1991 in Bel Air, Maryland.  He is a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics and the MedChi Organization.  He is Board Certified in Pediatrics. 

Dr. Seymour has been married to his wife, Kim, since 1986, has two bright teenaged daughters and one not-so-bright cat named Brooksie.  Dr. Seymour enjoys the Ravens, music and the Orioles.

Dr. Rebecca Hartwig earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine.
She performed her internship and completed her pediatric residency program at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. 

Dr. Hartwig practiced pediatrics in 1997 and 1998 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  From 1999 to 2002 she practiced at Upper Deerfield Pediatrics in Bridgeton, New Jersey and 2002 through 2007 practiced at First Step Pediatrics, Bridgeton, New Jersey.  Dr. Hartwig then joined
Pediatric Partners in March of 2007.  She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Hartwig enjoys all areas of pediatric care with a special interest in learning disabilities and obesity.  In her spare time, Dr. Hartwig enjoys photography.

Dr. Lauren Henning earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2004.  She performed her internship and completed her pediatric residency  program at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Henning joined Pediatric Partners after completing her residency in July 2007.  She is a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics, The American Osteopathic Assocation, and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. 

Dr. Henning enjoys all areas of pediatric care, with a special interest in preventative medicine and nutrition and obesity.  She enjoys water sports, travel, mission work, and the outdoors.
